Cindy Sabo is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Hematology Department of Children’s Hospital of Michigan.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Eastern Michigan University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University.  Cindy is a hematology provider for patients who attend the Flow comprehensive clinic.  She assists with Dr. Chitlur’s community outreach program, providing education to high school students in Detroit Public schools that promotes early awareness of abnormal period symptoms, assists with diagnosing the cause of the abnormal periods and aids in prevention of severe complications that impact quality of life.  She is actively involved in the Foundation for Women and Girls with Blood Disorders (FWGBD).
