Dr. Backos specializes in adolescent (A young person that is in the process of developing from a child into an adult) medicine at Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s Specialty Clinic.  She participates in the Flow comprehensive clinic, once a month, with a hematology provider.  Her role in the Flow clinic is to assist in controlling menstrual complications.
