Appointments

Request an appointment

Flow clinic appointments run two to three times a month and pair a hematology provider with adolescent medicine or gynecology, so you are seen by both in a single visit.

What happens next

1. You send this request. A nurse coordinator reviews it. [CONFIRM TYPICAL RESPONSE TIME WITH THE CLINIC.]

2. We call you. To ask a few questions and find a Flow clinic date that works.

3. You come in once, not three times. Hematology and gynecology or adolescent medicine see you in the same appointment.

This form is not for emergencies. If you are soaking through protection every hour, feel faint, or are frightened by how much you are bleeding, call the clinic on (313) 993-0382 or seek urgent care.

Not sure yet whether you need to come in? The self-assessment takes about 3 minutes and will tell you. Take the self-assessment

Appointment request

FORM NOT YET BUILT — appointment request form. Only two forms existed on the old site (the quiz and the contact form). There is no appointment form to recover; build one as Form 3, then replace this note with its shortcode.

[CONSENT AND DATA-HANDLING LINE PENDING — the hospital privacy office decides what this form may collect and what it must disclose.]

Self-assessment

Not sure whether your period is normal?

Many people live with heavy or prolonged bleeding for years without mentioning it, because no one has ever told them it isn’t normal. The self-assessment asks a short set of questions and tells you whether it’s worth being seen.
